Bronze reads darker and less yellow than brass, with a depth that photographs badly and looks extraordinary in person. It is the finish most often chosen for the largest gestures in a scheme — a helical stair soffit, a full-height lift surround, a clad architectural volume.
It carries texture well. A hammered or lightly beaten bronze surface holds shadow in a way that a flat panel does not, which is useful across large areas where a plain sheet would look empty.
Bronze-toned surfaces can be achieved in several ways — solid metal, coated brass, or PVD on stainless — and they behave differently in service. We will tell you which one your project actually needs.
