Inlays and trims
Metal inlay strips and trims set into stone, timber and plaster: profiles in brass, bronze and PVD-coloured steel.

Inlays are thin lines of metal set flush into another material: a brass line in marble, a bronze reveal in timber panelling, a PVD profile around a door.
They are bent to the drawing, mitred at the corners and finished to match the other metalwork in the room.
Made to measure: drawn to your space, then cut, formed and finished in our Delhi workshop.

Questions & answers
Questions about inlays and trims
When are inlays fitted: before or after the stone is laid?
Most strips are set as the stone or timber is laid, so they sit flush and the two materials close against them. Some can be routed in afterwards. The installer and we agree the sequence before work on the floor begins.
Will a brass inlay in a floor wear or tarnish?
Brass in a floor is polished by feet where people walk and tones down at the edges, which gives the line a natural look. If an even bright line is wanted, PVD-coloured stainless steel keeps its colour under foot traffic.
Can inlays follow curves?
Yes. Strips can be bent to a curve or cut from sheet to a curved line, and both are made from a drawing or a template taken on site, so the strip and the stone meet exactly.
