What we collect
This site is content-managed: its pages are stored in a database on our hosting account and edited by our own staff, who sign in to do so. That sign-in is for our team only — nothing on this site asks you to create an account.
We set no advertising or tracking cookies. In fact we set no cookie at all unless somebody signs in to the editor, so reading these pages leaves nothing on your device.
The site makes no requests to any third party. The typefaces are served from this domain rather than from a font service, and the contact page links to Google Maps rather than embedding it. Reading a page here tells nobody but us and our hosting provider that you visited.
Collected automatically: the standard access logs kept by our hosting provider, which record requests to the server. The site additionally records the address of any page that could not be found, so that broken links can be repaired — that is a path and a count, and it identifies nobody.
The enquiry form sends what you type to this website, where it is stored so that we can reply. Alongside what you enter — your name, how to reach you, and whatever you choose to tell us about the project — we record the IP address the enquiry was sent from, your browser’s identification string (its user-agent), the page you arrived from, and the exact consent wording shown to you at the time.
Sending an enquiry requires ticking the consent box, and we keep a copy of the wording you agreed to. We use your details only to respond to you and to discuss the project. We do not add them to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share them.
Files you attach to a quote request (drawings, photographs) are stored privately with the enquiry and are never published. Enquiries and their files are deleted automatically two years after they are sent. To have yours removed sooner, write to contact@decofabrinox.com.
