Accessibility
How this website is built to be usable by everyone, and how to tell us when it is not.
What we aim for
We build this website to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader and a phone, and aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
Pictures carry a written description, pages have one main heading and a logical order of headings, menus open and close with the keyboard, and the colours of text are checked for contrast against their background.
Every page is checked at desktop and phone widths for the contrast of its text, for text that overlaps other text, for pages wider than the screen, and for words placed on a photograph without a shade behind them.
Known limits
A few photographs have short descriptions, and the PDF documents (catalogues, data sheets) are not fully tagged for screen readers. If you need a document in another form, ask and we will send it.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this website does not work for you, please tell us through the contact page, saying which page and what happened.
