| Worth knowing | Deep textures collect dirt and grease, so they belong away from kitchens, counters and the outdoors. | A gradient that runs across several panels is set out as one drawing and graded as one batch, so that it continues across the joints. | A scratch across the grain is visible from a distance. | Shallow by nature, so it wears where hands and feet pass — a wall or a panel, not a counter or a step. |
