How it looks	A worked surface of controlled dents that breaks reflection into hundreds of small highlights.	Fully reflective. Worth knowing	The dents hold dust and, outside, water.	Shows every fingerprint and every scratch, so it belongs where it will be looked at and not handled.	Shallow by nature, so it wears where hands and feet pass — a wall or a panel, not a counter or a step.	A pattern has to be made before anything is cast, so a one-off medallion carries the cost of its tooling.
Looking after it	A soft brush lifts dust from the dents; a damp cloth for marks.	A soft dry cloth for dust and a damp one for marks — never anything abrasive, which scratches a mirror surface permanently.	Mild detergent and a soft cloth.	A soft brush for the relief, a damp cloth for the face.
