How it looksDeep three-dimensional panels and medallions cast from a pattern, then hand-finished.A non-directional swirled grain that scatters light.Softer and more open than hairline, with a matt reflection that sits comfortably beside stone and timber.A fine unidirectional grain.

Worth knowingA pattern has to be made before anything is cast, so a one-off medallion carries the cost of its tooling.Hard to carry cleanly around a tight curve, so it suits flat and gently formed panels.Small repairs blend better than on hairline but a damaged area is still re-brushed across the whole face.A scratch across the grain is visible from a distance.
Looking after itA soft brush for the relief, a damp cloth for the face.Wipe in any direction — there is no grain to respect, which is why it hides scuffs better than any other polished surface.Along the grain, mild detergent, soft cloth.Wipe along the grain, never across it, with a mild detergent and a soft cloth.
