How it looksDeep three-dimensional panels and medallions cast from a pattern, then hand-finished.Raised pattern pressed into the sheet, from geometric repeats to bespoke ornamental artwork.Design bitten into the surface, producing fine detail and artwork that cannot be achieved mechanically.Softer and more open than hairline, with a matt reflection that sits comfortably beside stone and timber.

Worth knowingA pattern has to be made before anything is cast, so a one-off medallion carries the cost of its tooling. The pattern repeats at the size of the tool, so a very large field shows the repeat.Shallow by nature, so it wears where hands and feet pass — a wall or a panel, not a counter or a step.Small repairs blend better than on hairline but a damaged area is still re-brushed across the whole face.
Looking after itA soft brush for the relief, a damp cloth for the face.Dust settles in the recesses; a soft brush clears it.Mild detergent and a soft cloth.Along the grain, mild detergent, soft cloth.
